Transport (Port Authorities & Operators, Ports/Harbours)
The Port of Inverness is one of ScotlandÕs most sheltered and natural deep water harbours and can offer companies almost guaranteed access irrespective of the weather.
The port handles a diverse range of cargoes including fuel oil, timber and wind turbines.
The port has extensive laydown areas and covered storage. Easy access to the A9 for both north and south bound traffic and the surrounding hinterland is a considerable advantage.
