Highland Business Week 2016 will feature an exciting series of events including networking sessions and seminars as well as the well established Highland Spotlight business exhibition and the annual Highland Business Awards lunch.

Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce and supported by Scottish Provincial Press as media partner, Highland Business Week will run from Monday 26 September through to Friday 30 September, providing Highland companies with excellent opportunities to make new business connections and celebrate their achievements. Various sponsorship opportunities are available throughout the week and enquiries are welcome from businesses of any size.

Monday 26 September
Work Based Learning - Making Skills Work for Employers
Highland Archive Centre, Bught Road, Inverness

Europe’s highest performing economies are supported by strong systems of work based learning, contributing to low unemployment and fewer skill shortages. Whether your business will be paying the Apprenticeship Levy from 2017, or not, Skills Development Scotland in partnership with Inverness Chamber is running this event for employers of all sizes to inform them of developments and opportunities with the Apprenticeship Family, as well as key products supporting work based learning.

Discover Drones
#hellodigital, An Lòchran, 10 Inverness Campus, Inverness
Sessions at 2.00pm & 4.00pm
Hosted by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, these sessions will explore how Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are being used across industry sectors and will highlight key safety and legal aspects. Each session runs for 50 minutes and includes presentations, exhibits and demonstrations.

Highland Spotlight Business to Business Exhibition
Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness

The Highlands' only dedicated business to business exhibition will showcase the wide range of products and services available in the Highlands, as well as give businesses a unique opportunity to make new contacts and find new buyers and suppliers. With over 60 exhibitors, the event is also an ideal platform for networking with fellow exhibitors and exploring business opportunities. Entry for business visitors is free.
