Inverness Caledonian Thistle CEO, Scot Gardiner and Manager John Robertson will deliver a presentation on how to get the most out of your team. Scot and John will both speak about their experiences in the game with fantastic insights into working with some of the UK’s biggest football brands and characters.
John Robertson - Manager - Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC
John is the record league goalscorer for Heart of Midlothian FC, the record Hearts scorer against Hibs and a true Hearts Legend. He is the current ICTFC Manager and he is enjoying his 2nd spell at the club. Having led the club to the Premiership in his 1st spell, John has also managed Hearts, Livingston, Derry City and East Fife and last year led the Caley Jags to the Scottish Cup Semi-final and the Play-Off Semi-final. He was capped 16 times for Scotland and has also worked as a broadcaster for BBC Scotland and both Sky and BT Sport channels.
Scot Gardiner - CEO - Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC
Scot is the current CEO of ICTFC having joined the club 4 months ago. He started his working life in publishing with DC Thomson in 1983 and entered the world of football in the mid 90's when he joined Glasgow Rangers as Sales Manager during the David Murray 9-in-a-row era.
He left Rangers to join Tottenham Hotspur FC in London to head up their commercial operation, reporting directly to club owner Sir Alan Sugar. (He wasn't a Lord then). He stayed on at White Hart Lane when the club was bought by ENIC and answered directly to their new and current Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy. Following a few entertainingly diverse years in London, he returned to his hometown club, Dundee FC, as CEO and the club won promotion twice and instigated and oversaw the sale of the club from a fan ownership model to new American owners. He joined Ann Budge a few weeks after she bought Heart of Midlothian FC and served as COO during a period when the club regained it's Premiership status and demolished and rebuilt a new Main Stand.
