Last season the club won the Irn-bru Challenge Cup and hope to be challenging for promotion back up to the Premier Division this season.

Inverness Chamber of Commerce spoke to Jim Oliver, the Commercial Manager at the stadium. Jim said: “I have been involved in football since I was 17 in various roles. This will be my first full season with the club after joining full time in November last year.”

Jim told ICC why he would like ICTFC to feature as member of the week: “There are so many things going on at ICTFC that need to be told to a wider audience and being the Chamber Member of the Week can give us that platform to tell the commercial world about what we do and what opportunities are there to work with us."

The Caledonian Stadium is a great meeting place and venue for all types of events with rooms and suites ranging in size from capacities of 6 to 150. There is easy access to the stadium from North, South East & West as we are situated just off the A9 near the Kessock Bridge.

About their new products and services, Jim said: “We are looking at providing Afternoon Teas for Coach Parties and this can also be available to other parties.”

We asked Jim what his business plans are over the next 12 months: “We are looking at maximising the activities at the stadium so that the rooms and facilities are utilised 24/7. The introduction of some rental facilities for hire in our car parks is something that we are also looking in to.”

ICTFC are delighted to have won a National Award in that we won a National Trophy when we won the Irn-bru Challenge Cup at the end of last season. The trophy sits proudly in our Boardroom.

Jim told us what he values most about Inverness Chamber membership: “The interaction with other members and the various events that are staged throughout the year. It is impossible to attend them all but there are some that are much more relevant and even being the Member of the Week will allow other Members to find out more about us.”

Jim provided his top-tip for other members to maximise their membership: “Communicate. The Chamber is giving you the platform to communicate with other businesses in the area. Use their services to get your message out to them.

Discuss with other companies why working with you will help them to increase their own business.”

ICTFC is delighted to offer 10% savings on their room hire rate based on number of attendees for fellow Chamber members. Simply log in to your chamber members area at for details on how to redeem.
