Donald Macdonald of Macdonald Hotels bought the hotel over 14 years ago and it opened as the New Drumossie Hotel in 2004 under the Macdonald Hotel umbrella. Set in nine acres of parkland with spectacular views over the Moray Firth, the listed art deco Macdonald Drumossie Hotel is an oasis of peace and elegance.

We spoke to Lindsey Randall, General Manager of the hotel. About her role, Lindsey said: “Having worked in hospitality since 2009 in a number of different roles I was delighted to get offered the position of General Manager of the Drumossie Hotel and started the role in May this year. Leading the team here at the Drumossie is a delight and they have all been very welcoming. My day job of promoting the hotel and building lasting relationships with local businesses and local people has opened opportunities in the local area and it has been so nice to get involved in the area that I know call home.”
