Member of the Week - Macleod and MacCallum

Macleod and MacCallum have been serving clients across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland for over 50 years.  Now employing over 65 members of staff, the firm has in this time developed a full range of legal, property and financial services enabling them to effectively and efficiently deal with and respond to the needs of clients, whether individuals or businesses.

Situated in the heart of Inverness, Macleod and MacCallum is the largest legal practice in the North of Scotland.  In addition, the firm provides a mobile office service covering Easter Ross and Skye where clients can book appointments to meet with solicitors.

We spoke to Amanda MacGillivray, Administrative Assistant with Macleod and MacCallum, to find out a little bit more:

“Our solicitors and staff are key to ensuring we can deliver exceptional advice, tailored to our clients needs.  We focus on delivering the highest quality of legal advice and have more accredited specialists than any other Inverness based solicitors. This ensures that whatever your circumstances we are here and able to help you.”

Over the course of this week, we’ll be looking at various units within Macleod and MacCallum including: Lettings Department, Property Department, Rural Land, Private Client, and Family Law.  Today’s focus is the Lettings Department.

Lettings Department

The Lettings Department manages one of the largest portfolio of properties for rent in the Inverness, Moray Firth and Highland area.  Macleod and MacCallum’s experienced letting agents specialise in all aspects of letting and property management – guiding you through the process from beginning to end.

The firm are proud members of Landlord Accreditation Scotland, the Scottish Association of Landlords, the Council of Letting Agents, and SafeAgent and are committed to the use of best practice and high standards.

Being a landlord brings a number of responsibilities and has legal implications, which Macleod & MacCallum can assist with - offering both a full management service or a non-factored service, which may suit the more experienced landlord.

Sarah-Anne Gow, the Lettings Department Manager and her team of Property Managers are able to assist you from start to finish, beginning with your search for an investment buy to let property through to the day the tenant takes up entry of the property and beyond.
