Redstart UK

Redstart UK began trading in April 2017, and so are still a fledging business. Redstart UK are a boutique training and HR services provider who supply the expertise and knowhow in a very practical and cost-effective way.

Redstart UK provide an array of services including: Retained HR Service; Pay-as-you-go HR; HR Auditing; HR Administration; Bespoke HR projects; and Training Services and on occasion, they deliver public courses. This is a great way for participants to network with other organisations to gain valuable insights from other employers and provide a safe learning environment away from the workplace. 

We spoke to Natalie Perks, Managing Director of Redstart UK who’s dream of having her own business began around 15 years ago whilst helping a friend complete her coaching qualification.  As a result, she identified two objectives from the coaching she received.  Firstly to relocate to the Highlands, which happened two years later, and the second to become self-employed.  She finally achieved the latter in April 2017 when Redstart UK began trading.

Redstart UK is proud to be working in partnership with the Highland Leadership Project to provide access to quality leadership development opportunities in the North of Scotland which will enable sustainability and growth of our local businesses and the economies which support communities within which we live.Recognising the complex and changing world we operate in, HLP is about developing the resilience, self-efficacy, critical reflexivity and emotional intelligence required of leaders to navigate this environment.  The HLP will enable participants to:

-Build high performing teams by consciously working and acting in a way which will get the most out of people.
-Develop a culture of continuous improvement and a productive mindset within their teams.
-Engage with others and create a work environment that people want to be in.
-Understand and negotiate in a complex and changing environment.
-Build confidence in challenging situations and when making difficult decisions.

29th January 2018:  Highland PA Network, 4pm – 5.30pm at the RBS Office in Inverness (this event is for individuals working in a PA/Secretarial capacity and not a general networking event).
22nd February 2018:  Highland Leadership Project Dram, 9am – 12.45pm at the Inverness Chamber offices.
22nd – 23rd February 2018:  YOU, Rediscovered, 9am – 5pm at the Kincraig Castle Hotel.
